High Adventure

High adventure outings are a special part of Troop 313 heritage. Listed below are some of the high adventure outings.

Philmont Scout Ranch.

Generally, every other year, the troop will travel to Northern New Mexico to backpack the Rocky Mountains. We spend 12 days on the trail. Mount Baldy and Tooth of Time offer an unforgettable view. An adventure of a lifetime!

Canada Wilderness Canoe Outing.

Generally, every other year the troop will travel to Canada for a week of wilderness canoeing. We travel from lake to lake camping along the way. Fishing is so good that they jump into your canoe.

Seabase.

Troop 313 has taken a coral reef sailing adventure at sea base in Islamorada, Florida. We spent 6 days and nights aboard a 43′ sailboat as we sailed to Key West and back. Plenty of fishing, snorkeling and just plain “chillin’ out.”
